Wednesday in Spain

My favourite cup competition is on today; Copa Federación in Spain. Have won much the last years on that as bookies are really crap on lower Spanish football. I have 3 bets for tonight and also bets in Copa del Ray and Tercera. (William Hill prices stated)

 

 

Catellon - Puertollano  1 - 5/6 (1,83)

2nd leg in Copa Federacion. Puertollano won the homeleg 1-0 on a penalty, but Castellon was the better team throughout the game. See an 11 minute long recap of the game blow. Castellon had more dangerous attacks and should have scored. castellon are going great in a quite strong Tercera group and the only loss in the last 8 was the first leg. Puertollano are midtable in a much weaker Tercera and should have no chance tonight. The priceis too high, 1/2 (1,50) wiould have been a great bet too, so at this price Castellon are my Bet Off The Day

 

 

 

 

Cartagena FC - Conquense  1 - 9/4 (3,25)

A value bet. Both teams are struggling in their respective divivions. Conquende are in Segunda B, but are too weak to stay up IMO and Cartagena are in Tercera. They have had awful form, but after the 0-4 loss in the first leg, Cartagena have racked up 2 great wins against top teams Huercal-Overa and Mar Menor. As the tie is over (no way Cartagena will win by 4 or more) I think we can be in for an upset att Cartagena at home want to keep up their good form and the price is IMO too high. Other bookies have even higher price. Bet 365 has 10/3 (4,33)

 

 

San Roque - Marbella  1 - evens (2,00)

Marbella won 2-0 in the first leg. That is the only game in the last 5 where Marbella have managed to score at all. They are a really weak away side and will struggle against a San Roque side that were really good away to division leaders UCAM Murcia this weekend. San Roque and Marbella play in the same Segunda B group and SR are a few places higher and even though they lost in the first leg at Marbella, they won the league game there in November. The home price are a few points too high and is a good bet.

 

 

Other teams to bet on in Copa federacion tonight, that aren't priced up yet but might come inplay, are;

Linares (should be 6/4 or more) and Atl baleares (4/5 or more).

 

 

Now to tercera where there is a great bet.

Santa ursula - Granadilla  1- 4/5 (1,80)

Santa U came from the Preferente last season but are going great in Tercera. They are 6th and have 4 straight wins. Granadilla are just 1 point above relegation and they really struggle on their travels. after 8 away games they are without win and have just 3 draws and they have only managed to score 3 goals in these games. They have 5 straight withou loss, including two away draws. But here they will lose and IO think they might lose big. This is a Tenerife derby but so are many games in this Tercera group. Great home price.

 

 

 

Copa del Rey

2 small outsider bets in CdR

 

Villarreal - Cadiz  2 +2 - 21/20 (2,05) or +1 at 3/1 (4,00)
Villarreal had a lucky win in Cadiz in the first leg wehre they won 2-1. They are going great in Primera BUT, they should be resting almost all of the first team aquad today, just like in the away fixture. Cadiz are going really good in their Segunda B group and will show no respect here. Cadiz' goal this season is promotion and they see this as a greta way to test thi strength. Villarreal are too big IMO.

 

Levante - Albacete  2 - 5/1 (6,00)

1-1 in the first leg but Albacete should have won. They had many chances in the first half and Levante were lucky not to be 2-0 down. Levante have become too big favouites here. Levante havent impressed in Primera and in the last games they have shown nothing. Albacete ae last in Segunda but I think they can suprise. The trip to Valencia isnt too long and 5/1 is too high. Small bet for me.

 

 

 

Weekend bets

Once again I look at th Spanish football and have found several good bets;

Starting in Segunda B:

Group 1

Astorga - Aviles  1- 13/10 (2,30)
Astorga are uneven but can play very well when at best. Aviles are poor away from home and according to reports they could missa few players. Decent home price.

Celta B - Logrones  2 - 7/5 (2,40)
This is one of the best Segunda B bets this weekend. Logrones are a great away side. Now they travel to Celta Vigos B-team, who have 8 straight without a win. Celta B have drawn 3 of the last 4 at home but this week they meet a team that are way better than they are. Great price.


Group 2

Conquense - Huesca  2- 23/20 (2,15)
Huesca are in great form. They have 4 straight wins in the league and midweek they played well against BArcelona in Cop del Rey, losing just 0-4. Conquiense won midweek with the sam figures but that was against the Cartagena side in the Tercera, not FC Cartagena in Segunda B. Cartagena FC (yes confusing) are in really poor form and Conquenses win must not be regarded as a factor ahead of this match.


Group  3

Cornella - Hercules  2 - 13/10  (2,30)
Another great bet. Hercules are in great form and are playing really well. Cornella are  a side that quite easily could fall into the relegation spots as they are quite mediocre. This game is played on artficial surface and even though the home team are used to it, I think it will suit Hercules better and I can see a win by a few goals here.


Group 4

Linense - Jaen  1 - 11/10 (2,10)
2nd at home to 4th. Linense are great at home with 6-1-0 and 15-4 in goals. jaen have won just once on the road and in 7 away games they have managed to score just 5 times. Linense shouldn´t be atthis high price and this is my 2nd best bet this weekend and my BOTD on saturday.

Cartagena - cadiz  1-13/10 (2,30)
My best bet this weekend. Cadiz played at home to Villarreal on thursday in the cup and did really well. they were worth a draw or even more but lost ven though they dominated. Segunda B teams aren´t used to play tough games this close and when Cartgena are playing the tight way they are at the moment, cadiz will find it hard to score. Cartagena are in good form with 11 straight without a loss. 13/10 is too high. I think they will win to nil.



Segunda:


Las palmas - Leganes  1- 8/15 (1,55)
Las palmas are unbeaten at home and IMO the best team in Segunda. 5 wins and 2 draws after 7 games is good, but just letting in 3 goals in those games is outstanding. Leganés is a team I like, but on the road they have been awful. Just collecting 2 points and scoring just 2 goals in 7 games is really poor. This could be a slaughter and -1 and -2 on LP could be bets too.
