Sweden first round

This weekend the Swedish football starts again. I will stay away from tipping outright winners as Allsvenskan once again is really open and hard to predict. But I have bets in the first round games in Allsvenskan and Superettan


Malmö - Norrköping  1- 1,67 (4/6)
Norrköping are champions but will not be able to defend their crown. I think they will struggle to end top 4 this season. Malmö on the other hand look really strong. They have reached the final of the Swedish cup and beat Norrköping in the QF. Not that that says anything as it is all in the preseason. But Malmö are title contenders and should start with a win at a decent price.

Kalmar - Jönköping  1- 1,85 (17/20)
Kalmar will be one of the surprise teams this season and could end really high in Allsvenskan. They looked good in the preseason cup reaching the semi which they lost 2-3to Malmö. Jönköping are promoted and will struggle. I think their stay in Allsvenskan only will be one season long. A derby that Kalmar will win.

Örebro - Djurgården 1- 2,60 (8/5)
Örebro started last season poorly but they were great in the autumn (7-2-0 in the last 9 games). This year I think they could be another of the surprises ending high up, maybe even challenging for the title. Djurgården I have no faith in at all. I think they will end in the bottom half of Allsvenskan and will start the season of with a big loss. yes they have won 4 straight at Örebro but I think Örebro will win by 2-3 goals here. This is the BEST BET of the first round.


Other Allsvenskan games are tougher to predict. Hammarby, Göteborg and AIK should all win but the prices are a bit low for me.


In Superettan I have a feeling GAIS will beat Frej (13/20 1,65) as Frej will have a tough season. But the price is just a little too small. Other superettan bets can be Degerfors and Värnamo
