I have taken a few days rest and will be off until after the weekend as I have a bad cold and have no energy for finding bets.

My Thoughts 20 may
Taken a few days of betting after last weekened, which was very successful. Unfortunately I hav become sick instead (that´s what keeping away from betting does to you) so my thoughts today will be a bit shorter.
I have bets in Sweden, Iceland and Spain
Let´s start with Spain. where Segunda B and Tercera are into playoffs. I follow some of these divisions as I am into football in Murcia, a region where I love to spend my summers.
In the Segunda B championship, the winners of each Segunda B group plays. The semi winners are promoted and also play a game to decide who are champions of Segunda B. Murcia became that last season.
Mirandes v Atl. Baleares
Mirandes are well known due to their cup run that took them to the semis of Copa del rey after eliminitaing Espanyol, Santander, Villareal etc. They are also priced up based on that and I find value in the away team. IMO Atl. Baleares played in the tougher Group C (Teams from Valencia, Catalonia and Balearic isl.) and even though their away form hasn´t been all too good I think a handicap bet on them is good and also a bet on them to be promoted.
Cadiz v Real Madrd Castilla
Real Madrid 2nd team always get a lot of help from referees as it seems they are afraid of the mighty Real Madrid. But here they won´t get any help. Cadiz is a good team that won the hardest Group (Group 4) and at 10/11 (1,91) they are the bet.
In the relegation playoff I recommend a bet on Lorca away to palencia. palencia were lucky to be in a group with some awful teams and should be the weaker of these two. handicap bets might be wise.
In the other promotion games in Segunda B I have picked the following bets.
Badalona v Tenerife 2 - 15/8 (2,87)
Albacete v Orihuela 1 -4/6 (1,67)
If you are lucky and find prices in tercera go for these 3 teams;
Mar Menor - really good Tercera team that have a home record of 15-3-0. Portugalete is from a weaker tercera group and are just OK, not more. Long travel from rainy Bilbao to really hot San Javier too.
La Hoya - A team from Lorca, who started the season really well and are a good hometeam. Don´t know anything about their opponents, but it is a long time sine any team from that group did anything outstanding.
yeclano - From the lovely town Yecla. This team sailed up as the best team in Group 13 during the season and they are good both home and away. They have some really good players that I think can do good in higher divisions.
Now to Iceland where I have found 2 bets;
IBV v Fylkir
IBV have started the season poorer than expected. They are better than so and came 3rd last season. Their games against Fylkir often are tight but I just ahve a feeling that Fylkir are weaker this season and IBV should start winning games soon. Why not here at 17/20 (1,85)
IA v Keflavik
IA have started brilliantly with 3 straight wins and they look really good this season. They are newcomers and maybe still valued on that. But they look sstrong and at evens (2,00) they are the bet.
Finally to Sweden where compilers finally seem to get a hang on the teams, so not so many outstanding proces this week.
Häcken v Djurgården
Häcken is the team that in single games have impressed me the most this season. 6-0 last week against Norrköping, a game where Waris scored 5 goals and now have a total of 12 in 10 games. The second best goalscorer so far is makondele, with 7 goals, he is also a Häcken player. So they have outstanding goalscorers. really impressive. Djurgården have just scored 13 goals total this season :)
At Home Häcken have won 4 of 5 games and scored 19 goals. How can poor Djurgården get anything here?? Well, they can´t. Djurgården have just 2 points from their 4 away games and here thy will lose big. Djurgården miss a few players and Häcken ouright or -1 is my tip.
örebro v Syrianska
Örebro will finally win. Syrianska miss their best player, Touma, and that makes them much weaker.
rest of the games only inplay betting is interesting.

Many interesting games this weekend and I have several bets.
SATURDAY
Allsvenskan
Kalmar v Mjällby
Kalmar really are the enigas of this season. Are they good or are they really poor? At home they have just 1 win in 4 games and they have not played well all season. Now they face Mjällby who have drawn in 5 of 8 games. Mjällby have been unlucky though. They were 2-0 up away to GAIS last game when GAIS struck twice in the last minutes. They score and also let goals in o here I really believe in a game that will end with over 2,5 goals at evens (2,00). Mjällby must be the bet in this game and at 23/10 (3,30) they are worth a bet. And then why not try Mjällby and over 2,5 too :)
Djurgården v Åtvidaberg
Åtvidaberg have had it tough after their great start. 5 straight losses, but today they have a game where I think they could turn their form around in. Djurgården is not a good team at all and 9/2 (5,50) is too high on Åtvidaberg. Also try handicap bets on them.
Superettan
Varberg v Degerfors
Varberg has become one of my favourites in superettan. The point away at Hammarby was really strong and they were worth more. Degerfors took their first points of the season last week in a win against Brage. They still have much to proove before I can beieve in them though. Varberg are a good bet at 11/10 (2,10)
Halmstad v Jönöping
Halmstad are really uneven, but they have won both home games so far. But they take on the constantly underrated Jönköping, who themselves have won both away games and are unbeaten this season. Jönköping shouldn´t have had dropped points at all. Home to Öster they were 3-1 up and one man more but Öster still equalised. The game after they met Ängelholm and even though they were one man down they led 2-0, but after having another man sent off, Ängelholm could get 2-2. Bad... The players sent off are suspended but I still think Jönköpings price at 3/1 (4,00) is way too high. Try +1 too.
Division 1
Frej v Väsby
A top of the division clash and a derby as Täby (where Frej come from) and Väsby are really close. Frej are unbeaten after 4 games and have scored 12 goals. Impressive by a team that started last season really poor. They have a good team and are good enough to be promoted to Superettan. Both Frej and Väsby have played against Luleå, Enköping and Syrianska. 3 teams that are in the bottom and really poor but I still believe that these teams (together with Sirius) will be the teams fighting for promotion all season long. Frej should be just under 6/4 (2,50) and that is really good IMo as I think they are the stronger team.
Also try Qviding in Div 1 Södra
In Finland I have found a really good bet.
Inter v JJK
Inter won their first 4 games in Veikkausliiga and lost last week away to reigning champions HJK on a goal in the 90th minute. JJK are yet to meet any of the really good teams in the league and now that they do, they will lose by a few goals. Inter at 4/5 (1,80) is one of the best bets this weekend IMO.
Iceland´s 1 deild starts today and I belive that these 3 teams are teams to follow today;
Vikingur Reykjavik, Haukar, Thor.
Will be back on twitter with inplay bets as I am planning on watching Haukar v Tindastöll.
In Swedish Allsvenskan for women Tyresö and Ldb malmö must be banker bets. I also believe that Kristianstad might spring an upset.
SUNDAY
Allsvenskan
Elfsborg v AIK
OK, AIK are unbeaten after 3 wins and 5 draws, but Elfsborg have won 7 of their 8 games and just lost away to Helsingborg. Elfsborg have scored 16 goals (AIK 7) and have proven to be the best team in Sweden at the moment. If they play like they have so far they will be the first team to beat AIK this season and 3/4 (1,75) is good IMO
Helsingborg v Häcken
A velue bet. 11/4 (3,75) is too high on Häcken, who are much better than the compilers seem to think. Helsingboerg are weaker than last season and here I go for the value.
Superettan
Värnamo v Hammarby
Hammar by dropped their first points last week at home to varberg. Värnamo have just 1 point in 5 games. So why are hammarby 11/10 (2,10). Hammarby are so much better and I think they are so much better and this is the best Swedish bet this weekend.
Umeå v öster
Öster are one of the 4-5 best teams in Superettan, Umeå are not. Öster will continue their unbeaten run and 21/20 is really good IMO.
As usual you might find higher prices than the ones I have written. But I follow WillHills prices on this blog.

Swedish (and Icelandic) thoughts wednesday - Friday
As I am quite busy the next couple of days I will just post quick tips. Unlucky on monday BTW when Jönköping lost 2-0 to 2-2 after having 2 players sent of. Ruined an otherwise great day.
I got a question hy I use William Hill´s prices. It is because I listen to their inplayradio (try it, you´ll love it) and have a lot of contact via mail and twitter with the people working there and it is easiest to use the prices they can use on air. If you find higher prices elsewhere, then take them :)
I will start with Icelands urvalsdeild on Thursday. Just second round and still a bit hard to bet on. But I have found 3 bets I like.
Stjarnan v Fylkir 1(-1)
Stjarnan were really good when coming back from 0-2 to get a draw in teh first round. Now they meet a team that might struggle this eason. I will go -1 at 9/5 (2,80) but 4/6 (1,67) on them just to win is really good too.
Grindavik v Keflavik 1
here I go for the price. 6/4 (2,50) is too high on the home team. 11/10 would be a more correct price IMO.
FH v Fram 2(+1)
No way hafnafjordur (FH) should be the low price they are. I would go evens on them. And 11/2 on Fram is huge. FH were weak against Grindavik in the first round while Fram lost at home to Valur, one of the better teams, 11/2 (6,50) is a bet and so is 11/8 (2,37) on Fram +1.
Fram is the Valuebet of the week. Not saying they will win but they are totaly at the wrong price.
Short Swedish bets up to friday:
No bets in men´s football at all, but one bet in the Women´s allsvenska
Linköping v KIF Örebro 1(-1 or more)
Linköping have been poor in 2 straight games but they have beaten the best team in Sweden, Tyresö, at home this season and against a KIF Örebro that have been weaker than expected, Linköping will win again. A bit late today. been busy all day. So just some quick thoughts for tonight
Elfsborg v Göteborg
Best bet in Allsvenskan today is Elfsborg. They have been much better this season than I thought. Göteborg miss Selakovic and have sofar met most of the poorer teams in Allsvenskan, apart from Häcken and AIk, and they will have no chance here IMO. Elfsborg will win and 10/11 (1,91) is really good IMO.
Örebro v Kalmar
Örebro might take their first win as they meet really uneven kalmar. 29/20 (2,45) is worth a bet for me anyway.
Gais v Mjällby
GAIS should be stronger even if they haven´t shown it this season. Mjällbý have played well and had some luck so far but today I go for my feeling. I thought GAIS price would be lower so 21/20 (2,05) is the bet for me. probable undergame BTW.
Trelleborg v Umeå
Trelleborg winless so far but here they should win. prices a bit low though so wait for live inplay betting.

Öster are better than Halmstad IMo and have a bigger chance to be promoted. Hamstad have been really poor while öster win all at home. 6/5 (2,20) is one of the better bets today.

Swedish thoughts - Sunday 6 may
Even though my bets are going really well, I have been a bit unlucky lately. Especially with the Kalmar game where Gais equalised in the 91st niunte :(
This posting will be a bit longer than usual as I have looked at other Nordic and Scandinavian leagues too. This mainly due to the fact that the "best" league in the world, Icland´s Urvalsdeild, starts today.
First though I will wite something abou spanish football (yes, multinational today). It has been a dark season for my beloved Murcia, with most teams goaing poor. Cartagens will most likely be relegated from Segunda as they have 10 points to safety. after a really good start to the season, Real Murcia have been poor this year but still may fix another season in Segunda.
In the Segunda B group 4 (where the teams from Murcia play) The two teams from the Region play an important game today. la Union and Lorca might both be relegated and today´s game is really important. I love the small town of La Union, but Lorca is a place I have close to my heart. And after the earthquakes that ruined much of this beautiful town I really hope they will stay in Segunda B. The town needs it.
In Tercera Grp 13 there offcourse are Murcia teams going well, s it is the Murcia group :). But I am happy "my" Mar Menor team are in the qualifications for promotion. Would be lovely with Segunda football at Pitin :)
BUT.. not all is bad in Murcian football. We still hve Futsal. El Pozo Murcia lead the top division, 2 points ahead of Barcelona with 1 round left. Murcia travel tomarfil inthe last round (a barcelona team) while Barcelona travel to Reale cartagena from Murcia :) Exciting. I just know that Cartagena, who are relegated, has said they will play for El Pozo Murcia and try to beat Barcelona. I hope El Pozo will win too, so they make sure they become champions. Exciting last round anyway.
OK... you want tips. Well, I will start in Norway as one of the bets of the day is found in Tippligaen.
Haugesund v Lilleström
haugesund have started the season really good. Just 1 loss in 6 games and they have won both homegames. Lilleström have taken just 1 point in 3 awaygames and just 3 points total in all 6 games thi s season: Lilleström have many players out injured. Probably they also will be without first choice keeper Ramovic and English attacker Luke Rodgers (ex. Nott co, Shrewsbury etc.)
Haugesund will continue their good start to the season and should win by a few goals. 8/13 (1,61) is a bankerbet today!!
Now to Sweden
Allsvenskan:
Norrköping v Syrianska
Bankerbet in Sweden. Norrköping have played really well in their last two games, beating malmö and Gefle. At home they are 2-1-0 and against the weakest team in Allsvenskan they will win again. Syrianska has IMo the worst defence and with players being out injured they are even poorer in the back. Norrköping are 6/10 (1,60) and that is really good IMO. Why not also try a hadicap bet?!
malmö v Åtvidaberg
Åtvidaberg have really some doen to earth after their great start. 4 straight losses with a total of 2-9 in goals. malmö are really up and down but have played better at home. Here they are too big favourites but with Åtvidaberg being really weak at the moment I think Malmö will win by 2-3 goals and -1 at 5/6 (1,83) is a bet for me here.
Superettan:
Hammarby v varberg
Hammarby have won all 4 games so far. A bit better than expected, but they are real contenders for promotion. Varberg are new in Superettan and have done it really well with 2 wins and onegoal losses in the other 2 games. varberg have shown that they have no respect for the better known teams and I think the price on them is too high today. Faölkenberg are a disapointment. many tipped them to come top 6-8 but they have just 1 point in 4 games. Their opponents, Värnamo, also have just 1 point so far. But värnamo are a weaker team IMo and I think Falkenberg´s first win will come. 4/5 (1,83) is worth a bet for me as falkenberg will hit form soon.
Brommapojkarna at 5/4 could be a bet too today, but I will wait for inplay live betting on that game.
Div 1.
oddevold and Luleå are bets in Div 1 today. Oddevold were favourites to win Div 1 south this season and away to a weak Qviding they should win and prices over evens are betable.
Luleå have started poor but meet even poorer Akropolis. Luleå have met the teams that were top 3 ahead of this round, 3 teams that all will fight for promotion. Now they meet a really poor team and could be found at around 5/4. That is really good!
Now over to the first round of urvalsdeild in Iceland. Remember that this is the first round and keep stakes low.
My bets are:
KR - Champions last season and winners of the preseason league cup. Best team in Iceland and they should win against Stjarnan, even though Stjarnan also had a good preseason. Last season both games between these teams finished 1-1 but KR look even stronger this season and 4/7 (1,57)is a bet for me.
Breidablik - Finished 6th last season and take on newcomers IA in the first round. Breidablik were good in the leaguecup losing to KR in the semifinal. I don´t know much about IA but them beingso big favourotes is wrong IMO. 9/5 (2,80) on Breidablik is the bet here.
Fylkir - had a bad season last year but I think they are better this year. Keflavik is a team they beat twice last season. All 4 games between these teams has ended 2-1, despite who won. And this will be a close game too. 5/4 (2,25) on Fylkir is a bet, but best might be to wait inplay anyway.
FH - 2nd last season and a really good Icelandic team take on Grindavik who were really lucky to miss relegation as Thor had real bad luck in the last weeks of the season. FH won 7-2 against Grindavik last season. maybe not as many goals today but instead of going for the low price on them to win, try -1, -2 or FH to win and over 2,5 goals. All are at good prices.

AND... remember one thing in Iceland: There are not as many goals as some people think. 41 of 121 games (bit more than a third) were over 3,5 goals. Many, Yes, but not as many as some punters think.

inter ahve started really well with a maximum 12 points. 10-0 in goaldiference in these 4 games is really strong. HJK are champions but not as good this season as last. They have lost 2 games so far and are not playing that great. They will find it hard to score on Intr, who have one of the best goalkeepers anda really well disciplined defence. 4/1 (5,00) is WAY TO HIGH on Inter here!! Value bet of the day!!
This posting will be a bit longer than usual as I have looked at other Nordic and Scandinavian leagues too. This mainly due to the fact that the "best" league in the world, Icland´s Urvalsdeild, starts today.
First though I will wite something abou spanish football (yes, multinational today). It has been a dark season for my beloved Murcia, with most teams goaing poor. Cartagens will most likely be relegated from Segunda as they have 10 points to safety. after a really good start to the season, Real Murcia have been poor this year but still may fix another season in Segunda.
In the Segunda B group 4 (where the teams from Murcia play) The two teams from the Region play an important game today. la Union and Lorca might both be relegated and today´s game is really important. I love the small town of La Union, but Lorca is a place I have close to my heart. And after the earthquakes that ruined much of this beautiful town I really hope they will stay in Segunda B. The town needs it.
In Tercera Grp 13 there offcourse are Murcia teams going well, s it is the Murcia group :). But I am happy "my" Mar Menor team are in the qualifications for promotion. Would be lovely with Segunda football at Pitin :)
BUT.. not all is bad in Murcian football. We still hve Futsal. El Pozo Murcia lead the top division, 2 points ahead of Barcelona with 1 round left. Murcia travel tomarfil inthe last round (a barcelona team) while Barcelona travel to Reale cartagena from Murcia :) Exciting. I just know that Cartagena, who are relegated, has said they will play for El Pozo Murcia and try to beat Barcelona. I hope El Pozo will win too, so they make sure they become champions. Exciting last round anyway.
OK... you want tips. Well, I will start in Norway as one of the bets of the day is found in Tippligaen.
Haugesund v Lilleström
haugesund have started the season really good. Just 1 loss in 6 games and they have won both homegames. Lilleström have taken just 1 point in 3 awaygames and just 3 points total in all 6 games thi s season: Lilleström have many players out injured. Probably they also will be without first choice keeper Ramovic and English attacker Luke Rodgers (ex. Nott co, Shrewsbury etc.)
Haugesund will continue their good start to the season and should win by a few goals. 8/13 (1,61) is a bankerbet today!!
Now to Sweden
Allsvenskan:
Norrköping v Syrianska
Bankerbet in Sweden. Norrköping have played really well in their last two games, beating malmö and Gefle. At home they are 2-1-0 and against the weakest team in Allsvenskan they will win again. Syrianska has IMo the worst defence and with players being out injured they are even poorer in the back. Norrköping are 6/10 (1,60) and that is really good IMO. Why not also try a hadicap bet?!
malmö v Åtvidaberg
Åtvidaberg have really some doen to earth after their great start. 4 straight losses with a total of 2-9 in goals. malmö are really up and down but have played better at home. Here they are too big favourites but with Åtvidaberg being really weak at the moment I think Malmö will win by 2-3 goals and -1 at 5/6 (1,83) is a bet for me here.
Superettan:
Hammarby v varberg
Hammarby have won all 4 games so far. A bit better than expected, but they are real contenders for promotion. Swedish thoughts Thursday - Saturday 3 -5 may
As I have a lot to do for teh rest of the week I will just give my tips on the rest of the games this week. Will be back sunday.

Swedish Thoughts 2 may
Let´s hope Sweden continues being a goldmine :) Today I have bets in 3 of 4 matches in Allsvenskan an 1 game in Div 1.
Syrianska v Elfsborg
Difference in class between the second last team and League leaders Elfsborg. Syrianska have 4 straight losses in which they only scored once. I can´t see them doing much better today. Elfsborg have won all ghames apart from an away loss to reigning champions Helsingborg. In all wins they have scored 2 goals and that says something about Elfsborg. they do they job but no more. Syrianska have not let in more than 2 goals in any game apart from the 0-4 awway to Sundsvall. That´s why I will go for Elfsborg win at 4/7 (1,57) but I will also bet Elfsborg 2-0 and 2-1 at 13/2 (7,50) and 15/2 (8,50) and a big bet on Elfsborg to score in the first half at 13/20 (1,65) as they have done so in all games so far.
Åtvidaberg v Häcken
Åtvidaberg started really strong but have now lost 3 straight games. Now they take on Häcken who one week plays brilliantly and the next are really poor. Both temas have goals in them and that is where I will bet. Both teams to score at 6/10 (1,60) is a really good bet. Over 2,5 goals is 7/10 (1,70) but if you try that make sure you have something on 1-1 too as that is a clear possibility.
Helsingborg v AIK
No doubt about my views here that Helsingborg is the much better team. AIK are second and have drawn all 3 homegames and won all 3 away games (a bit odd) but they have yet to play away to a really good team and so they do today. AIK have not been impressive so far and their position in Allsvenskan is higher than they are worth. AIk have not won here in 7 years and also lost the supercup game here in the beginning of the season. Aik miss some important players and even though Helsingborg mix fortunes too, this is a game they will win IMO and 10/11 (1,91) is really good.
Stay away from Göteborg v Sundsvall. Selakovic missing in Göteborg and they are priced way too low.
In div 1 I will once again back against my Hometown Enköping. They are really too weak for Div 1 and away to Väsby who have won both games. Last week Väsby won away to Syrianska, who in the week before easily beat Enköping in Enköping. can´t bet on just that but with Enköping being so poor this will be an easy homewin. Väsby are a banker bet and I will also try -1.
